But as you approach the waterfall, things start to move faster. At this point, you will find it difficult to steer, let alone turn around. Humanity is now rafting along. But soon it will pick up speed.
The same way that just a couple decades back we were posting letters in envelopes and then transitioned to instant emails, all progressive steps look tantalizingly attractive. Until it picks up speed.Then it becomes too late to do anything if it turns out bad.
